Evening dedicated to parents and supporters!

Join Barrington Youth Football (BYF) coaches and committee members for an evening dedicated to parents and supporters. Whether your athlete is currently playing Tackle or Flag, or your family is considering joining for the upcoming season, this is the perfect opportunity to get inside the huddle and learn what makes BYF special.

Event Details

  • Date: Monday, March 30th
  • Time: 7:00 – 8:00 PM
  • Location: Zoom — link will be provided upon registration

Why Attend

A strong football program starts with an engaged community. This session will provide transparency, safety updates, and a roadmap for every child's football journey.

Topics Include

  • Safety First: Learn about the safety training both Tackle and Flag coaches go through.
  • Flag-to-Tackle Transition: Understand how BYF bridges the gap between non-contact and competitive play.
  • Coaching Philosophy: Meet some of the mentors guiding players on and off the field.
  • Volunteer Opportunities: Discover ways to support game days, events, and fundraising.
  • Q&A Session: Ask questions directly to BYF representatives and Head Coaches.

Who Should Attend

  • Prospective Parents: Discuss both Flag and Tackle programs with experts and make the right decision for your child.
  • Current Flag Parents: Wondering when the right time is for your child to move to the tackle program? Ask a coach from both Flag and Tackle!
